Creating your first application

This tutorial teaches you how to create your first Kanzi application. You learn how to create a Kanzi Studio project, import and modify content, make it interactive, and how to frame and light a scene. Finally, you learn how to create from your Kanzi Studio project a Kanzi application that runs on Windows computers and on Android devices.

In this tutorial you create a simple rotating user interface. You can rotate the icons in the interface on a non-touch device by clicking and swiping, and by swiping the screen of a touchscreen device. This video shows the result of this tutorial.

Before you start with the tutorial make sure you have Kanzi Studio installed. If you do not have Kanzi Studio installed, see Installing Kanzi.

This tutorial incrementally teaches you to build a Kanzi application and covers some fundamental concepts about developing applications in Kanzi Studio, which is why it is important that you follow each step.
